Welcome to Day 6 of our Kundalini Yoga journey!
We have traveled from grounding in the Root Chakra to expressing truth through the Throat Chakra and now we rise to the Third Eye Chakra (Ajna), the center of intuition, clarity, and higher awareness.
What is the Third Eye Chakra?
The Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) is located between the eyebrows and is often called the “eye of wisdom.” It is associated with intuition, perception, imagination, and inner knowing.
Element: Light ✨
Qualities when balanced: Insight, intuition, clarity, and spiritual connection.
Signs of imbalance: Confusion, lack of focus, overthinking, or disconnection from inner guidance.
When Ajna is open and active, we begin to see life with awareness and trust our inner truth beyond logic or fear.
Day 6 Kundalini Practices for the Third Eye Chakra.
Here are three powerful Kundalini-inspired self-practices to awaken your intuition and inner vision:
1️⃣ Kirtan Kriya (Sa Ta Na Ma).
Sit comfortably with a straight spine.
Touch thumb to index, middle, ring, and little finger while chanting:
Sa (birth) – Ta (life) – Na (death) – Ma (rebirth).
Chant aloud, then whisper, then silently.
Continue for 3–5 minutes, bringing awareness to the space between your eyebrows.
This ancient Kundalini practice clears the subconscious and strengthens focus and intuition.
2️⃣ Mantra Practice – Om Namah Shivaya.
Sit still with your eyes gently closed.
Chant “Om Namah Shivaya”, feeling the vibration at the third eye point.
Continue for 3 minutes, allowing your inner awareness to expand.
3️⃣ Trataka (Candle Gazing Meditation).
Place a candle at eye level about an arm’s length away.
Gaze softly at the flame without blinking until tears form naturally.
Close your eyes and visualize the light at your third eye.
Practice for 2–3 minutes.
This practice strengthens concentration and awakens the subtle vision of the mind.
Journal Prompt for Day 6
After your meditation, reflect:
“What is my inner wisdom trying to tell me today?”
Closing Reflection.
As you complete Day 6, honor your inner guide the quiet voice within that knows what is right for you.
The Third Eye Chakra reminds us that true vision doesn’t come from seeing the outer world, but from awakening the light within.
Trustyourself. Listen deeply. Let your intuition lead the way.
Tomorrow, we’ll complete our journey at the Crown Chakra (Sahasrara). The center of pure consciousness and divine connection.
Om Namah Shivaya. You are guided. You are aware. You are light.
